This Privacy Policy describes how the Wakeyo iOS application (the “Service”, “Wakeyo”, or the “App”) handles Your information, and explains Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
Wakeyo is an alarm clock that only stops once You complete a wake-up mission. By using the Service, You agree to this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation & Definitions
Definitions
- Application / App refers to Wakeyo, the iOS software program.
- Device refers to the iPhone on which You use the App.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Service Provider means any party that processes data on Our behalf to support the Service.
- We / Us / Our refers to the individual developer of Wakeyo.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Our Privacy Commitment
Wakeyo is designed to work entirely on Your Device. We have no backend database and no user accounts, so there is no personal profile for Us to see, store, or lose.

Data Stored on Your Device
The following information is created and stored locally on Your Device only, and is never sent to Us or any third party:
- Alarms (times, repeat days, chosen mission, mission size, sound, and enabled state)
- Wake-up history (the date and time You completed a mission, used to show Your streak and insights)
- App preferences (such as whether You have completed onboarding)
This data lives in the App’s private storage on Your iPhone. If You delete the App, this data is removed with it.

Camera & Motion Access
Camera
Some missions ask You to do push-ups or squats, take a photo of the sky, or photograph an everyday object. To support these, the App requests access to Your camera. All image analysis (counting repetitions, checking the photo) happens on-device in real time. Photos and camera frames are not saved, not stored, and never uploaded anywhere.
Motion
The “shake” mission uses Your Device’s motion sensors to detect movement. This motion data is processed on-device only and is never stored or transmitted.
You can revoke camera or motion access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security. Some missions may not work without it.

Purchases & Subscriptions
Wakeyo offers an optional upgrade (Wakeyo Pro) as an auto-renewable yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. All transactions are processed exclusively through Apple’s App Store using Apple’s StoreKit. We do not collect, receive, or have access to Your payment card information. Your subscription status is read on-device from Your Apple ID to unlock Pro features; we do not use any third-party subscription analytics provider.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Your Apple ID account settings.

Sharing Your Data
Because Wakeyo does not collect Personal Data, there is nothing for Us to share. The only third party involved is:
- Apple App Store: handles all purchases and subscription management under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
We may disclose information only if strictly required to comply with a valid legal obligation, but in practice We hold no Personal Data that could be disclosed.

Your Rights & Deletion
Since all Your data is stored locally on Your Device and never transmitted to Us, You are always in full control:
- Access & correct: view or edit Your alarms and history directly in the App.
- Delete: remove individual alarms in the App, or delete the App to erase all associated data instantly.
Depending on Your location (for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), You may have additional statutory rights. As We do not hold Your Personal Data on any server, most requests can be fulfilled by You directly on Your Device. If You have questions, contact Us using the details below.

Security
Your data is protected by iOS’s app sandboxing, which keeps each app’s data isolated on Your Device. Because Wakeyo does not transmit Your Personal Data over the network, there is no server-side store that could be breached. No system is ever 100% secure, but keeping data on-device meaningfully reduces risk.

Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13 (or under 16 where required by applicable law, such as the GDPR), and We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. As Wakeyo collects no Personal Data at all, no such information is gathered from any user regardless of age.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Changes become effective when posted on this page.
